Griffith Film School students are pioneering new technology that is revolutionising the screen industry.
Master of Screen Production students, staff and alumni have collaborated with industry on a virtual production called Decommissioned, which uses the same technology Hollywood productions like The Mandalorian are employing.

“This allows you to create environments that you can’t get to, or don’t exist,” she said.

The European Union (EU)’s Taxonomy Regulation for projects eligible for sustainable investment has given the gas industry plenty to think about.
The criteria set out in its ‘green listing’ of projects may be beyond gas-fired power plants and even some hydrogen projects unless there is some drastic rewriting done this year.
The regulation – adopted by the EU member states last summer – sets out a classification system enlisting certain projects as environmentally sustainable in order to help private investors conscious of their carbon footprint to make informed decisions. Women in QPS: Navigating waterways
We are taking time this week to celebrate International Women’s Day and showcase female officers within the Queensland Police Service (QPS) who inspire, empower and succeed in their roles.
Senior Constable Jodie Rowell is an officer with Brisbane Water Police with 14 years with QPS under her inflatable vest.
“I wanted to become a police officer to be a part of making the community a better place,” she said.
A background in Surf Life Saving and Volunteer Marine Rescue in Mackay provided Senior Constable Rowell with a solid background in activities in and around the water, leading her to apply to join the Brisbane Water Police.
